Our support through schools has not just been limited to boarding schools.

Hardship Support
- Hardship support for flood affected students at Taradale High School and Wairoa College
- Additional counselling capacity in schools
- Support for a new bike facility at Eskdale School.
- Supported the development of Wairoa College’s Horticulture Centre to help students in their rebuild and learning after the Cyclone
Books To Schools
In addition Evergreen has partnered with the Ministry of Education and the Rural Support Trust (RST) to provide a package of books about resilience – including the local picture book ‘Pearl in a Whirl’ – into 75 cyclone affected schools in Hawke’s Bay and the East Coast , aiming to support children, young people, and parents through these challenging times.
